Born in Providence, Rhode Island, as the son of a businessman, Waseem Bahra spent his childhood under the hazy skies of Damascus. He will receive his B.A. in Political Science and his Minor in International Relations in 2025 from the University of Rhode Island.

He has been published in the following journals, periodicals, and magazines: Meniscus Literary Journal, The Bookends Review, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, Poets Choice Magazine, etc. A Father's Will is his first novel.
